º . Objetivo y alcance . El presente decreto tiene por objeto regular el otorgamiento y uso de condecoraciones del sector solidario, establecer su clasificación, precedencia y características generales, así como las circunstancias por las cuales se pierde el derecho a usarlas.

Parágrafo

Por sector solidario se entiende los organismos de la economía solidaria establecidos de conformidad con la Ley 454 de 1998 y las entidades públicas que en dicha norma se prevén.
