Reunido el Colegio en la capital de la Provincia Electoral, designará Presidente y Secretario-este último puede ser de fuera ó de su seno,-y una vez instalado, procederá á elegir los tres Senadores principales y sus respectivos suplentes, dando cumplimiento al artículo 33 de la ley 42 de 1905 .

Parágrafo

El Presidente tomará posesión ante la corporación, y los miembros de ésta ante el Presidente.
