Quien obtenga el nombramiento de Magistrado del Tribunal Supremo en propiedad, debe presentar a la Corte Suprema de Justicia, dentro del término que tiene para manifestar su aceptación, los comprobantes de que reúne las condiciones exigidas por el artículo 6.º con el objeto de obtener la confirmación del nombramiento, la que se otorga por medio de una resolución motivada, y sin la cual no puede tomar posesión el Magistrado elegido.
