Se entiende por vago para los fines de esta Ley a quien no posee bienes o rentas, o no ejerce profesión, arte u oficio, industria, ocupación licita o algún otro medio legitimo conocido de subsistencia, y, además, su modo de vivir da fundamento bastante para estimarlo perjudicial a la sociedad, y que habiendo sido requerido por la autoridad competente hasta por dos veces, en el curso de un semestre, no cambie sus hábitos viciosos.
