Durante el día de las votaciones ningún ciudadano con derecho a votar puede ser arrestado o detenido, ni obligado a comparecer ante las autoridades públicas. Exceptúanse los casos de flagrante delito u orden de captura anterior a la fecha de las elecciones, emanada de Juez competente.
