Los días de elecciones y durante las horas de votación, con el fin de garantizar el transporte de pasajeros en las áreas urbanas y en los conglomerados delimitados por el Decreto 417 de 1986, las empresas de transporte están obligadas a prestar sus servicios en las rutas y frecuencias que se le haya autorizado y sólo podrán cobrar las tarifas fijadas por las autoridades competentes.
