Quienes no cumplan con lo establecido en el artículo 3° del presente Decreto, estarán ejerciendo ilegalmente la Profesión de Economista y por lo tanto se harán acreedores a las sanciones que establecen el artículo 9 de la Ley 41 de 1969 y los artículos números 20 y 21 del Decreto 1268 de 1977.
