Las edificaciones preexistentes a la vigencia de esta ley y sus reglamentos, que por medio de una intervención como la habrá de consagrar el Título A de la reglamentación, se actualicen y ajusten a sus requisitos, podrán ser eximidas del pago del impuesto de expedición de licencia de remodelación y de los impuestos prediales, por un lapso definido por la autoridad distrital o municipal competente.
