La Dirección general del Presupuesto y la Dirección General de Tesorería del Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público manejarán las contribuciones para el sostenimiento de la Superintendencia Bancaria, que corresponde pagar a las entidades vigiladas por ella, como cuenta presupuestal de manejo especial, denominada "Fondo de Contribuciones Superintendencia Bancaria", cuya cuantía será igual a la apropiación presupuestal asignada para el efecto en el presupuesto nacional.
