La introducción de tuberías destinadas a la construcción de los acueductos municipales de carácter oficial queda exenta de todo impuesto nacional, departamental o municipal, así como también del pago de transportes por los ferrocarriles nacionales y de impuesto fluvial en los ríos en que tal impuesto se causa.
