° Toda solicitud de reconocimiento institucional como universidad deberá formularse por escrito al Ministerio de Educación Nacional, por conducto del ICFES, e ir acompañada de un estudio de auto-evaluación. Su presentación deberá hacerla el Rector o el representante legal de la entidad interesada, quien debe estar específicamente autorizado para tal efecto.
