El artículo 6 de la Ley 28 de 1931 quedará así:

"la primera elección de miembros de Cámara de Comercio, tanto para las que se funden como para la renovación de las existentes, se hará libremente por los principales comerciantes e industriales de la respectiva jurisdicción, y por las personas mencionadas en el artículo anterior (5º de la Ley 28).

"Las elecciones posteriores se harán por las personas inscritas en el registro de afiliados de la respectiva Cámara."
