La visa ordinaria de inversionista a que se refiere el artículo anterior será otorgada inicialmente por seis (6) meses. Una vez vencido este período y para efectos de la extensión del término de validez de la misma, el extranjero deberá presentar, ante el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, certificación de la Superintendencia de Sociedades, donde conste que la inversión se realizó en los términos prescritos por el Departamento Nacional de Planeación.
