Estructura del Código Postal. El Código Postal a adoptar, se compone de seis (6) dígitos, con la siguiente estructura:
Los dos primeros dígitos representan a los departamentos nacionales.
El tercero y cuarto dígito definen las zonas postales de encaminamiento al interior de cada departamento.
Los dos dígitos restantes indican las subdivisiones al interior de cada zona postal.
