La inscripción y el reclutamiento de los colombianos que vayan a prestar este servicio, se hará a través de las autoridades de Policía en coordinación con las del servicio territorial a que se refiere el artículo 10 de la Ley 1º. de 1945. El personal incorporado en el cuerpo auxiliar de policía, recibirá una capacitación igual a la establecida para los agentes alumnos y tendrá prelación para ingresar como agente profesional, previo el lleno de los demás requisitos exigidos por las normas que regulan esta carrera.
