De conformidad con lo dispuesto por el artículo 130 de la Ley 270 de 1996, los empleos de la Fiscalía se clasifican según su naturaleza y forma como deben ser provistos, en de libre nombramiento y remoción y de carrera. Son de libre nombramiento y remoción

1.

Vicefiscal General de la Nación.

2.

Secretario General.

3.

Directores Nacionales.

4.

Directores Seccionales.

5.

Los empleados del Despacho del Fiscal General, del Vicefiscal y de la Secretaría General.

6.

Los Fiscales Delegados ante la Corte Suprema de Justicia.

7.

Los demás cargos son de carrera y deberán proveerse mediante el sistema de méritos, a través del proceso de selección. CAPITULO SEGUNDO De la Administración de la Carrera
