Las comisiones escrutadoras distritales, municipales y auxiliares comenzarán el escrutinio a las nueve (9) de la mañana del martes siguiente a las elecciones en el local que la respectiva Registraduría previamente señale. Cuando no sea posible terminar el escrutinio antes de las nueve (9) de la noche del citado día, se continuará a las nueve (9) de la mañana del día siguiente en forma permanente, y si tampoco termina, se proseguirá durante las días calendario subsiguientes y en las horas indicadas hasta concluirlo.
