ARTICULO 256 . Aseguramiento de la prueba . El funcionario judicial deberá tomar las medidas necesarias para evitar que los elementos materiales de prueba sean alterados, ocultados o destruidos. Con tal fin podrá ordenar entre otras las siguientes medidas: disponer vigilancia especial de las personas, de los muebles o inmuebles, el sellamiento de éstos, la retención de medios de transporte, la incautación de papeles, libros y otros documentos.
