º . Régimen Subsidiado. De conformidad con lo establecido en el Decreto-ley 1298 de 1994, el Régimen Subsidiado es el conjunto de normas que rigen la afiliación de los individuos y sus familiares al Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud, cuando tal afiliación se hace a través del pago, total o parcial, de la Unidad de Pago por Capitación financiada con recursos fiscales y de solidaridad según lo dispuesto en el presente Decreto. Así mismo incluye el conjunto de normas que regulan la operación del sistema.
