SERVICIO MILITAR DE BACHILLERES EN PRISIONES. Los bachilleres podrán cumplir su servicio militar obligatorio en el Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario, distribuidos en los diferentes centros de reclusión, previo convenio entre los Ministerios de Defensa Nacional y de Justicia y del Derecho, después de haber realizado el respectivo curso de preparación en la Escuela Penitenciaria Nacional.

Los bachilleres que hayan cumplido este servicio a satisfacción, podrán seguir la carrera en el Cuerpo de Custodia y Vigilancia Penitenciaria Nacional.
