Fondo Nacional de Pensiones de las Entidades Territoriales. El Fondo Nacional de Pensiones de las Entidades Territoriales (Fonpet), creado por el artículo 3° de la Ley 549 de 1999 es un fondo sin personería jurídica, administrado por el Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público. El Fonpet tendrá por objeto recaudar de la Nación y de las entidades territoriales los recursos definidos en la Ley 549, asignarlos en las cuentas respectivas, y administrarlos a través de patrimonios autónomos en los términos del presente capítulo.
