Art. 6.° El Poder Ejecutivo nacional queda igualmente autorizado para destinar hasta cincuenta mil pesos anuales a la ejecucion de esta obra, desde el momento en que tenga conocimiento de que por cualquiera potencia o compañía, capaz de realizar el proyecto, se resuelva llevar a efecto la apertura del canal interoceánico por territorio colombiano.
