Los Comandantes de los buques darán al Ministerio de Guerra, por conducto del Jefe Militar residente, en el puerto de estación, aviso oportuno de las reparaciones que haya de ejecutarse en dichos buques, y el Ministro ordenará se verifico, o autorizará para ello al Jefe Militar, como lo crea más conveniente, procurando en un y otro como se emplee en las obras de reparación a los mismos tripulantes.
