Renuncia . El Cónsul Honorario que presentare su renuncia, deberá hacerlo por escrito ante Jefe de Misión Diplomática que corresponda, o al ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, por conducto de la Dirección de Asuntos Migratorios, Consulares y de Atención al Ciudadano. Una vez que el Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores acepte la renuncia, se comunicará al interesado por intermedio de la Dirección de Asuntos Migratorios, Consulares y de Servicio al Ciudadano o de la Embajada acreditada ante el Estado donde se encuentre el Consulado, que será la responsable de informar del hecho al Estado receptor.
