ARTICULO 114 . EMPLEO DE LOS MEDIOS COERCITIVOS. En casos necesarios, los miembros del Cuerpo de Custodia y Vigilancia Penitenciaria y Carcelaria Nacional emplearán sólo medios coercitivos autorizados por la ley o reglamento, pero escogerán siempre, entre los eficaces, aquellos que causen menor daño a la integridad de las personas y a sus bienes. Tales medios se utilizarán con racionalidad y únicamente por el tiempo indispensable para el restablecimiento del orden.
