ESTIMULOS A OTRAS PERSONAS. Las menciones honoríficas, premios, distinciones y condecoraciones podrán otorgarse a entidades públicas o privadas, personas naturales y a funcionarios oficiales que hayan prestado servicios eminentes a la comunidad en el campo de la seguridad pública o a los que hayan cooperado en forma sobresaliente en las tareas y objetivos que la ley señala al Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad.
