Art. 209. Por regla general, los empleos del orden judicial son renunciables ante la misma autoridad ó Corporación á quien, conforme á la ley, toca hacer la eyección ó el nombramiento.

La autoridad ó Corporación que hace el nombramiento para un destino judicial de aceptación forzosa, es también, por regla general, la competente para oír las excusas que presenten los nombrados y para decidir sobre ellas.
