Los encargados de la vigilancia de que trata esta ley deberán informar si las entidades encargadas de ejecutar el Programa de Alimentación Escolar propenden por evitar entregar productos comestibles o bebibles que contengan una cantidad excesiva de sodio, azucares añadidos, edulcorantes artificiales y grasas saturadas; en aras de garantizar la entrega de alimentos frescos, naturales y que se suministre una alimentación balanceada.
