El Superintendente tendrá la facultad de actuar como depositario en nombre de los acreedores y depositantes de cualquier establecimiento bancario a que esta Ley sea aplicable. Como tal depositario, podrá tomar y conservar en su poder acciones, bonos u otras seguridades que se le depositen en beneficio y protección de tales acreedores y depositantes; podrá entrar en arreglos con cualquiera de tales establecimientos bancarios o con los empleados superiores o directores de aquéllos, en beneficio de sus acreedores y depositantes, y podrá promover cualquier acción o procedimiento necesario para hacer efectivos tales arreglos.
