º Créase la Medalla al Mérito Empresarial, con la finalidad de resaltar ante la opinión pública nacional

Los méritos de las empresas nacionales o extranjeras residentes en el país, que hayan demostrado ampliamente un desarrollo en su gestión empresarial y tengan liderazgo en su región o en su sector.

A las entidades nacionales o extranjeras residentes en el país, que por su actividad han brindado desarrollo económico y social al país en general o a la región en que operan, generando bienestar a los sectores que atiende la Corporación Financiera Popular S.A.
