Las importaciones que la Universidad de Caldas, la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira y el Instituto Técnico Industrial "Francisco José de Caldas" de la ciudad de Manizales, tengan que hacer para adquisición de talleres, laboratorios, material de enseñanza, libros y revistas, así como dotación para servicios docentes, científicos, administrativos y asistenciales, estarán exentos de todo gravamen o depósito, pero requerirán el visto bueno del Ministerio de Educación, y la licencia correspondiente expedida por el Ministerio de Hacienda.
