Al Comandante de Cuerpo le corresponde la jurisdicción militar, en su caso, la disciplina y el servicio interno de su Cuerpo, de conformidad con las leyes y reglamentos. El Comandante de Cuerpo ejerce su autoridad aun en los casos en que su Unidad se encuentre distribuida en varias guarniciones.
