Cuando un Agente del Ministerio Público estuviere impedido para intervenir en un asunto, lo reemplazará el suplente respectivo. Agotado el número de suplentes, si hubiere otro agente de igual categoría, será llamado por el Juez o Tribunal para reemplazarlo. En caso de no haber mas agentes de igual categoría, el Juez o Tribunal hará el nombramiento como está ordenado en el artículo 168 del Código Judicial.
