Reconócese a favor de los aprehensores de la mercancía de contrabando, una participación igual al veinticinco por ciento (25%) del producto líquido del remate o venta de las mercancías aprehendidas por ellos. Cuando el aprehensor fuere a la vez denunciante, la participación será del treinta y cinco por ciento (35%) de dicho producto.
