El consejo Directivo constituirá mediante acuerdo una Junta de Adjudicaciones, la cual tendrá como función estudiar y aprobar las adquisiciones cuyo valor sea superior a diez mil pesos ($ 10.000.00), y no requieran licitación pública. Esta junta estará integrada por un delegado del Ministro de Trabajo y Seguridad Social, un delegado del Ministro de Salud, dos representantes del Consejo Directivo y por el Director del Instituto o su representante, quienes tendrán voz y voto., El Jefe de Servicios Generales del Instituto actuará como Secretario de dicha Junta.
