Cuando falleciere un empleado al servicio de la Registraduría Nacional del Estado Civil, se reconocerá un auxilio por concepto de gastos funerarios equivalente al cincuenta por ciento de su última asignación mensual, sin que en ningún caso dicho auxilio sea inferior a cinco mil pesos.
