Extendidos y firmados los censos en los libros respectivos, el Jurado Electoral remitirá al Alcalde una atestación en que conste el número de ciudadanos inscritos en cada uno de ellos, con derecho a votar. El Alcalde pasará copia dicha atestación al Gobernador del Departamento y al Fiscal del Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial, en cuyos archivos se guardarán.

Se publicará, además, en el periódico oficial del Departamento.
