Las federaciones deportivas nacionales son autónomas en el manejo de su deporte en los Juegos Deportivos Nacionales y sus eventos se realizarán conforme a sus propios estatutos, reglamentaciones internas, régimen disciplinario, de juzgamiento y sistemas de preparación y competición y las normas especiales que dicte el Comité Olímpico Colombiano, sobre aspectos de su competencia.
