Art. 6° Para vigilar las cuadrillas de trabajadores, llevar lista de los jornales y dirigir el trabajo inmediato de los peones y de la fuerza pública que se destinen para ejecutar las obras de la vía, se nombrarán Sobrestantes con asignación mensual hasta de $ 40. Cada sobrestante se hará responsable de las herramientas y material que reciba, y se sujetará á las instrucciones que de común acuerdo le den el Superintendente y el Director. Cada cuadrilla de trabajadores no excederá de cincuenta individuos, y será vigilada por un Sobrestante.
