OBLIGACIÓN DE SERVICIO. Caución. El Suboficial que ascienda a Oficial, habiendo cursado sus estudios en comisión como tal tendrá la obligación de servir en la nueva jerarquía un tiempo igual al doble de que hubiere durado en comisión. Cuando se retire a solicitud propia antes de dicho término, pagará a la Caja de Sueldos de Retiro de la Policía Nacional, una suma equivalente al sueldo básico mensual correspondiente a su grado, por cada mes que dejare de servir. Esta obligación se hará efectiva en la forma y condiciones señaladas en el artículo 8 del presente Decreto. CAPITULOIII. DE LOS ASCENSOS
