°. Autorretenciones en exceso . Cuando se efectúen autorretenciones por concepto del Impuesto sobre la Renta para la Equidad - CREE en un valor superior al que ha debido efectuarse, el autorretenedor podrá descontar los valores autorretenidos en exceso o indebidamente del monto de las autorretenciones por declarar y consignar en el respectivo período. Cuando el monto de las autorretenciones sea insuficiente, podrá efectuar el descuento del saldo en los períodos siguientes.
