Investigadores extranjeros. Los investigadores científicos extranjeros que pretendan adelantar actividades de excavación e intervención de carácter paleontológico con fines exclusivos de investigación científica deberán estar vinculados a una institución nacional o extranjera de investigación debidamente acreditada o a una institución extranjera que tenga un acuerdo de cooperación vigente con el Servicio Geológico Colombiano o con una institución nacional de investigación que cuente con dicha autorización.
