Art. 12. Ninguno de los miembros del Resguardo podrá ser empleado en asuntos extraños á sus funciones, ni ser ocupado como Ordenanza ni como Portero. Unicamente continuarán, como Escribiente en la Salina de Sesquilé el Guarda montado que desde el principio se destinó á ese servicio, y el Guarda de á pie que actualmente sirve como Portero de la Administración principal en Zipaquirá. Tampoco podrán ponerse los Guardas en los almacenes de sal, de Pesadores. Esta función es privativa de los Cabos.
