El derecho a sueldo de retiro en las condiciones en que lo establece la ley 75 de 1. 925 empieza el 1º de enero de 1. 926, época en que entro en vigencia la ley, y por tanto solo podrán adquirirlo los oficiales en servicio activo en el momento, de modo que el que haya servido en época anterior, sino ingresa nuevamente al Ejército no adquirirá al derecho a sueldo de retiro.
