Los secretarios generales o los funcionarios administrativos de igual o superior jerarquía, pertenecientes a las entidades públicas, a cuyo carga estén los archivos públicos, tendrán la obligación de velar por la integridad, autenticidad, veracidad y fidelidad de la información de los documentos de archivo y serán responsables de su organización y conservación, así como de la prestación de los servicios archivísticos.
