De las fundaciones o instituciones de utilidad común . Las fundaciones o instituciones de utilidad común, esto es, las personas jurídicos surgidas por la exclusiva iniciativa privada mediante la destinación de un patrimonio, forman parte del subsector privado del sector salud cuando se dediquen a la atención, sin ánimo de lucro, de servicios de salud en los procesos de fomento, prevención, tratamiento y rehabilitación a la comunidad en general, conforme a la voluntad de los fundadores.
