Los Jefes y Oficiales que reciban ascenso gozan del nuevo sueldo desde que lo reciban oficialmente; mas si este ascenso tuviere lugar en el mes, la diferencia entre uno y otro sueldo corresponderán al Montepío Militar. Los que estuvieren ausentes en uso de licencia temporal disfrutarán del nuevo sueldo, con la misma salvedad, desde el día en que tomen posesión del destino y se incorporen á su respectivo Cuerpo.
