Los Delegados de los Registradores Distritales y Municipales deberán ser colombianos de nacimiento, ciudadanos en ejercicio y gozar de buena reputación. No podrán ser parientes, ellos o sus cónyuges dentro del cuarto grado civil de consanguinidad o segundo de afinidad, de quienes los nombren, y tomarán posesión de su cargo ante el respectivo Registrador.
