La Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Armenia, Telearmenia, es una sociedad entre entidades públicas, sometida al régimen de las Empresas industriales y Comerciales del Estado, perteneciente al orden nacional y vinculadas al Ministerio de Comunicaciones, que se organizó de conformidad con el Decreto 1228 de 1982, el contrato de constitución protocolizado con la Escritura pública número 912 de 119 de mayo de 1982, otorgada con la Notaría Tercera del Círculo de Armenia y los presentes Estatutos.
