Cuando la persona que de la noticia y la que la reciba residan en diferentes lugares, debe darse dentro de los siguientes términos:

1° Si se envía por correo, debe ser puesta en la oficina respectiva antes de la una de la tarde del día siguiente al rechazo, y si no hubiere correo a una hora conveniente de dicho día, por el primer correo subsiguiente;

2° Si se da en otra forma que por correo debe hacerse de manera que llegue a más tardar como si se enviara por correo, según lo previsto en el ordinal anterior.
